- Preparation and Assessment
Clear the affected area by excavating or clearing so that the crack is fully visible and accessible. Check for signs of water infiltration. In this case, it’s best to call in experts. - Surface Cleaning
To ensure the membrane adheres effectively to your foundation, clean the crack and surrounding area thoroughly with a wire brush or vacuum cleaner. It’s crucial to remove any debris, dirt or remnants of old sealants. - Applying and Drying
For best results, apply the Rub-R-Wall membrane to the entire surface of the crack using a trowel. Make sure to fill the crack and cover it completely. Once applied, allow the membrane to dry completely. - Backfilling
Replace the soil once the membrane is completely dry. Keep a close eye on the repaired crack for any signs of movement or reappearance.
