Hello. To answer your questions, I give a grade of 15 on all the items. I’ve had a total of 5 contractors over (2 specializing in excavation, 2 specializing in drains, and 1 specializing in construction) for us to get quotes and an overview of the available technologies. From his first visit, the Durasec representative (Patrick) stood out from the pack with his presentation, and the degree of confidence he exuded. He answered all our questions with complete answers, without bringing us more problems than solutions (our experience with other contractors). When we signed the contract, the customer service agent (Dariane) contacted us to schedule an appointment to start the work. The work began on the date we were promised when the excavation team (David) dug, in one day, all around my house, installed the French drain, and pressure washed the foundation so that the membrane could stick correctly. Meanwhile, still on the same day, a second team arrived to dig the sump in my basement, connect the French drain, install the pump, and connect it to my sewer drain. That’s when they realized we were missing the backup pump (not written on the work order). No problem, they came back the next day to finish everything. On the second day, the membrane team arrived and in one day they plugged the holes and the cracks, and they also put hydraulic cement at the critical places, sprayed the membrane with three coats, installed the rigid membrane, and did the finishing. The next day, the excavation team (David) double-checked the installation of the membrane, installed the styrofoam 2’’ around the foundation, backfilled everything, and especially cleaned the front of my house (street included). The whole project took only three days and when they left, I think the street was cleaner than it had been before they arrived.
My experience with Durasec was simply extraordinary. The whole staff was there whenever I had questions, and I always got a call or an e-mail back within the hour following my inquiry. You can count me as a reference if need be, I’d be really happy to talk about my experience.
